Schweizer Fahrrad- und E-Bike-Verkaufsstatistik
Seit 2002 erhebt Velosuisse bei seinen Mitgliedern die an den Handel gelieferten Fahrräder in verschiedenen Kategorien. Seit 2020 werden diese Zahlen an die Importstatistik des Bundesamtes für Zoll und Grenzsicherheit angeglichen, um den Gesamtmarkt noch präziser abzubilden. Unter Angabe des Urhebers (©Velosuisse) dürfen die statistischen Daten für medienredaktionelle, wissenschaftliche und schulische Zwecke honorarfrei verwendet, zitiert und weiterverbreitet werden.

2017 was a good cycling year. 338`000 bicycles and pedelecs (excluding children's play bicycles) were sold in Switzerland. That is 4.2 per cent more than in the previous year. With almost 90`000 vehicles, e-bikes set a new sales record. The increase was 16.3 per cent.
