Swiss bicycle and e-bike sales statistics
Velosuisse has been collecting data from its members on bicycles delivered to retailers in various categories since 2002. Since 2020, these figures have been harmonised with the import statistics of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security in order to provide an even more precise picture of the overall market. The statistical data may be used, quoted and redistributed free of charge for media editorial, scientific and educational purposes, provided the author is acknowledged (©Velosuisse).

Cycle Week 2027 will also take place in Lausanne
Cycle Week is expanding into French-speaking Switzerland in 2027: following six successful editions in Zurich, Switzerland’s leading national cycling festival will take place in Lausanne for the first time from 11 to 13 June 2027. Thereafter, Cycle Week will be held annually in Zurich (28 to 30 May 2027) and Lausanne. Long-term partnerships have been established with both cities.
