Black Friday is not only this year a good opportunity to stock up on a new bike or e-bike. The warehouses at the dealers are now well filled again in many places and the sellers are much more relaxed than in the spring, when the big rush prevails.
Black Friday hasn't necessarily been the time to buy a new bike or e-bike in the past. The peak season for buying a bike is traditionally spring. But since Corona, everything is a little different. Seasonal peculiarities and punctuality of deliveries have gone out of joint. At a number of bicycle dealers, the bicycles and e-bikes ordered for spring were not delivered until late summer or even fall. The warehouses are accordingly well filled, which is not necessarily typical before the onset of winter.
Since it is generally wise to act anti-cyclically, now is exactly the right time to relax and buy a new bike or e-bike or take your bike in for repair. Many dealers offer special rates and pick-up and drop-off services in the fall and winter to better utilize the workshop's capacity. The staff is also noticeably less stressed than in spring, when the first warm rays of sunshine remind everyone that they too still want to buy a bike or have one in the cellar that urgently needs servicing.
